Pokemon Zukan / Zuken Collection Update - BIG GET edition (P8)

Good day to all!
How are all of you doing today? It's been eh.. oh wow! Nearly 5 months already! Too long! I'm here today though to provide you with a new photo shoot update of my latest gets, and spoiler alert, the gets are gonna be B I G.

Rather than one enticing photo, I'm posting a few, to tell a small pre-story; my apologies for taking up space

I got it from Taobao, I actually thought I'd be getting Joltik+Galvantula on a purple base, but the 2nd hand seller kinda ripped me off. The Joltik itself though is still adorable, so I don't mind too much.

Congrats on all the amazing gets, Zukans are always so pretty and that Waillord is a beast! :D Seeing tiny joltik on him was funny too~ It's interesting to see the comparison of the new and old versions as well as the size differences. it does seem the custom ones have sometimes overly detailed textures though the contrast is cool. I'm sorry about what happened to you with 'cosmile_time', I've bought some smaller items from them before but didn't have any issues but I heard someone else on here had trouble with pre-order they had with them. I keep hearing about Taobao and meaning to use it, is it hard to use or do you need a proxy?

For Tao you do kinda need a proxy if you don't speak Chinese. I use Bhiner, which has been great. Finding items themselves though can be pretty tough too, especially now, they changed something lately, making it no longer possible to browse without account on Taobao

Hey! I've been waiting for your collection update :D The weather trio looks awesome together! Dialga looks much bigger than I expected. After your guide on Taobao in my first post, I've been able to buy a few Legendary and Mega Evolution Zukan. I couldn't find Dialga so I had to ask a figure shop in Vietnam to look for me and luckily they were able to find it from a seller in China (what a journey lol).

I also have a question. How long does it take for your packages to arrive in the US from China?

That's really cool to hear! Thanks! Dialga is pretty big indeed, but I like it! Glad to hear you managed to find one too then, do you have it yet?
To answer your question, it takes literally forever for my packages to arrive in the US, though that's probably because they're not going to the US; I live in the Netherlands :p
As to how long it takes them to come here.. it depends.. Sometimes, especially if it's a 2nd hand item, they send it pretty much right away, and I can expect it at home in about 3 weeks after ordering it, maybe 2 sometimes.
The pre-orders though, that's a different story. At this point I've been waiting for literally over a year on Arceus and Mega Steelix.

Sorry for thinking you're from the US :D They told me it'd take some time for Dialga to be shipped due to the Corona virus situation. I don't think I'll get it until late April. Recently I've been into collecting Chinese Zukan. Their poses look really cool even though they're fan made. I'm glad I was able to find most legendary from gen 1-4. I hope they still continue to make these 1/40 Zukan figures even when the 1/20 scale figures get more popular.

I hope so too, but I do expect them to continue to work on them for a least a fairly long while longer.

Congrats on your gets! These custom Zukans (Zukens?) look absolutely stunning! I love especially these with some ladnscape fragments or water, grass or clouds for a base.
And they look so fragile ;_; It hurt me reading about M Rayquaza ;_;
But are really beutiful. I sometimes enjoy looking at their photos on Taobao or Ruten. It's great they are making Pokemon who didn't had a chance to get 1/40 official Zukan.

The thing with Rayquaza's height is funny XD Maybe the height mean when it is coiled around with only the top of its body being up? (this pose, but I can't describe it XD https://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/e/e4/384Rayquaza.png)

Thanks! I love the diorama zukan too, makes it so much more colourful usually.
MR is fragile yeah.. But most of the damage is fixed now, and you can barely see it. other than the one taped bit of course.

Don't worry! The only Pokemon I tried to eat was Ho-oh tazo XD because it was colorful, and colorful for my five-years-old-brain meant "sweet" XDD

And the diorama puts the Pokemon in their natural habitat, which makes really cool scenery, and usually allows to give Pokemon more dynamic poses! (Un)fortunately, Beasts got Zukens with flat black bases only.

I didn't notice the taped part of M Rayquaza at the first glance. I noticed it after reading your comment and looking again at the photo. I know that people responsible for shipping have a lot of packages to manage, but seriously they should be more careful. (For the Arceus sake, don't THROW or KICK peoples' packages, what's wrong with these people)
