Ultimate Dunsparce grail get! One of a kind Animation cel!

What a way to end the year! Today i received another grail of mine and it’s a beauty!

Until a month ago i never would have thought that i would ever own a Pokemon animation cel and now i own three of them. Starting with my two Shiny Noctowl cels i got about a month ago.
This is a real dream come true!

Congratulations on your grail get! :D Animation cells are such cool pieces of Pokémon anime history, especially since they do it all digitally now. I imagine Dunsparce cells are harder to find than most since it wasn't it that many episodes. I'm a big fan of the anime and seeing this made me remember that race episode, I think I'll watch it again now lol XP

Thank you so much! Animation cels are definitely pieces of History and i will make sure to take great care of them! I will be framing them hopefully very soon.
I do recommend watching the episode! I rewatched it after i won the auction. It’s a lot funnier than I remember it. Especially the part with Team Rocket. XD And all of the Dunsparce are so cute! >x<
Also I recommend counting the times they say Dunsparce in that episode. It’s crazy!
To my knowledge Dunsparce has been in 6 episodes including the Legend of Thunder special but in most of the episodes he had a minor role and two of which Ash tried to catch one.

I know that i keep saying it but i’m so grateful to own these beauties and i will make sure to take very good care of them. I think that that’s mandatory owning a piece of history.
I will be framing them. But before i can do that i need to find some good plexiglass frames so i can display them the best that i can. They deserve it! =^w^=

Wow! This one is amazing!! This is such a fantastic scene from this episode, just looking at it makes me smile because it brings back the memories watching this one and what it was about! The colors look great and it's going to look so nice in a frame :). Very cool, thank you for tagging me and the post. I love seeing these things and with the og drawings. Your collection of animation cels are going to make for some amazing wall pieces, send me a pic once you get them framed and on the wall too! I will keep looking for a charmeleon cell for you, I haven't seen one pop up in a long long time so when it finally does its going to be awesome :D

Thanks so much! Yeah, it’s a great episode! I actually rewatched it right after i won the auction.
I will do my best to frame them soon. I haven’t been able to yet. 😅
I will definitely let you know once i framed and hung them on the wall!
Thank you for keeping an eye on Charmeleon for me. Unfortunately he hasn’t been featured in a lot of episodes and he evolved way too quick in the Anime in my opinion. 😭 so he’s gotta be super hard to find.

I did the same thing with ones that I have won lol. Of course! Yea I forgot charmeleon had so little screen time in the actual anime but there has to be a cel of him out there somewhere waiting to pop up. You are becoming my good luck charm with these things haha! There have been three entire gengar cels to pop since I met you! Thank you again for shooting me a message. This one goes to the the last scene that I purchased, hopefully I can snag it for cheaper and have almost the entire few seconds of animation from the episode in the form of the actual painted cels!

Congrats on your get! ^v^ I saw this one listed and thought it was a really nice setup, so I'm glad it's gone to a good home! C: Also if I may, I just wanted to jump in with a little bit of advice since I saw you mention you were planning to frame it - if you haven't already, please research carefully before framing. Cels are sensitive things, so ideally when framing you need to invest in UV resistant glass and keep it out of direct sunlight (otherwise the outlines will fade), don't put it anywhere too hot, and make sure there are holes in the back of the frame's mount so the cel can breathe (cels release gas and if there's no holes it can build up inside the frame and lead to vinegar syndrome which will cause the cel to discolour, wrinkle and break down). If you already knew all this then no harm done, but just in case you didn't I wanted to give you a heads up, as I'm sure the last thing you'd want is to unintentionally damage something so special. Congrats again anywho! Cels are awesome ;3

Wow, thank you so much for all the advice! I really appreciate your input! I did do some research on appropriate framing but you mentioned some things that i wasn’t aware of.
Now i can make sure to frame them even better. ^ ^
Animation cels do deserve the best framing possible and i feel responsible to give these pieces of history the best care they can get!
