What is this thing?

I have heard of mirage plushies, but i can't find info on this guy anywhere.
i got is when i was a kid from a carnival. it was one of the prices from a stand they had.
this was back in like the 90's i believe?
but i had just put in a bag and left it there for 18 years or so? so it looks completely new! :o
well, i hope anyone could help identify

I have not seen a mirage blastoise like that before. But because of the eyes and the coloring I have a feeling it could potentially be one. If you won it from a carnival as a child it could match up to the other information we have about mirage plush. Usually they could be found at crane games, fairs/carnivals, etc. Companies like play by play who produced pokemon plush in the 90's also had their merchandise in those places. I can't say for sure since this one looks so unique. He is quite small compared to other Blastoise I have seen but it could make sense since it was meant to be given out as a prize at a fair. but do you know what these kind of mirages would go for if i wanna sell it?

Since I cannot find any other like this one... I would say anywhere between 25- 80 dollars. This could be generous but a Mirage (poentially) like this that I have never seen may be worth something. Mirage plushies for blastoise typically start at around 25 dollars and end at 130 or so. That being said, it would be easier to sell if you met in the middle with the price :) They do not often sell for a ton of money if they aren't one of the bigger sizes. I am not expert on Mirage but I do have some experience with pricing vintage items/antiques and plushies in general.
