YES! The Mega Gyarados can indeed be seemlessly removed from the water, which I'm very happy about, I really hadn't expected that. The tail slides into the main body through the water, leaving some room for the thickness of the water to in between, but it _can_ slide in all the way when the water's not in the way, making it seemless.
