Hello everyone! I mostly lurk and recently I've been on the comm less, partially due to the fact that I've been slowly nearing my original collection goal - to get every official shiny plush and figure released. Your collection is so cool! Do you have some sort of list of what shiny pokemon merch is out there? I have a hard time finding information about that since it tends to be more exclusive, obscure or old merch and I want to start a collection if my own. Also the picture after you talk about the card album is locked for some reason? The rest of the photos work, it is just that one.

Thanks! I have a list in a .txt document. The list doesn't include information like release date or anything, but it would be a great place to start for research. I'd be happy to send it to you and answer questions about items (though be warned, I've organized it in a way that is intuitive to me and probably no one else).

I re-posted the picture; I don't know what made that one different from the others but hopefully Its fixed now.

I would love to see that text document. I have been starting to make checklists for the collections I have/ want to start so that would be amazing. Also for some reason I still can't see thebphoto? I will double check on my pc later but it still says it is locked.

Weird! We'll all it is is a closeup of the left side of the shelf, it doesn't actually show anything different.

I absolutely love this collection! Shinies are my favorite merch item to collect, they're just so unique and really feel special. For my pokemon news, I used to go to pokeshopper before their hiatus. Now i use pokepolitan, pokebeach for TCG, or the japanese/daisuki club pokemon sites on fridays for general merch updates. Where do you tend to find your shiny plush? I'm trying to add more to my collection too, they're just a bit hard to find lol

Thank you! I've actually not been to pokepolitan before - I'll check it out!

Where I get the plush depends on when/how it was released. Its fairly easy to get new Japanese releases on the Comm or Sunyshore. Sometimes I just wait 'till they're released in the states. I used to get the older/rarer plush on the comm, but they don't show up that often. I have a list of saved searches on eBay, that is where I've been getting most of the older stuff recently. A lot of the time the ebay prices are very inflated, but if you have patience a listing will show up at a good price. I imagine you would have much better luck yahoo!Japan and similar sites. I haven't used them because I know once I do I'll buy way too much :)

I feel the shiny pokemon merch is just as hard to come by as they are in games haha
