so how do you find prototype toys and also do they have strange colors cause there just using what ever fabric scraps they have?

This one I was pointed to by another member but the other ones I’ve had have come from eBay or other collectors.

A lot of the miscolored ones are made using whatever material that company had laying around. They’re usually called pattern testers as they just show the pattern of the plush and not the end product.

That was actually the second one I got! I believe the person who won it is also a member on here! :)

Oh wow! I'm the one that won the other glaceon on ebay, its so cool to know she has a twin!

The original TOMY Oshawott came out in October 2010, so probably around that time if they are the Japanese ones. I believe there was also a set released in 2011 with the other BW starters but since the pattern is exactly the same I never got that one, and there have been numerous re-releases in different regions over the years...do you have any other info about them?

Not really just that they’re both from japan.

Then likely they are from around that time, as Japan hasn't re-released these to my knowledge. So 2010/2011.
