I have 3 mirage vaporeon plush so this may sound like a stupid question but how would define a mirage plush?

they are basically unofficial plushies released but not to differ from bootlegs as bootlegs usually copy an existing pattern whether it be from an official release or a custom pattern. theyre just a "line" of plushies that don't fit anywhere IMO. they are not mass made like bootlegs are.
and for these taiwan mirages, they all seem to follow a similar pattern with the suction cup. I have quite a few of them with the suction cup. nosfurrettu, feel free to chime in as I know you've owned a handful :)

They’re also generally older, being released between 98-01. So they stay within the first two gens. (that we know of)

For me a mirage is an uniquely pattern plush that didn’t have that many plush made of it. They also generally only come from three areas of the world. (Taiwan, Europe, South America)

I know a lot have a suction cup and string (mostly the Taiwan variety) but they can come without one as well! Usually it’s the bigger ones from Taiwan but I do have a few that are smaller that never had one.
