Gets, Kitchenware Collection, and a Question!

Feb 05, 2017 15:08

Is it too late to say Happy New Year in February?

So I've gotten really into making Pokémon food lately. (So much so that I started a Pokémon food blog.) This has led to me trying to amass as many Pokémon food-related items as possible. I've been really lucky and have gotten quite a few Poké-food gets as a result! (I am probably putting it up in ( Read more... )

I'm sorry to hear that your package was missing the Mew bracelet :( Hot Topic stores have started showing up in Canada, at least here in Ontario, and they also ship to Canada from their online store. You could contact them through their online store to see if they could send you a new package :)

Edit: Oh and congrats on all your gets :D

I heard! I haven't seen any in Quebec so far, but it would be awesome to start seeing them. I hope it would be okay for me to contact the Canadian store even though my family got it in the US. :S Thanks for the advice!

And thank you very much!

Too bad there aren't any in Quebec yet :( Hopefully there will be some soon! I'm surprised Montreal doesn't have one :o I think the Canadian store would still help you out if you explain your situation. It's worth a try :) No problem. I hope it all works out! <3

:) I love Pokemon kitchenware. I have a lot of it. I admit I haven't used the majority of it. But as a Pikachu fan, my favorites are primarily from the Pikachu Kitchen promotion.

:D Yay! I so feel you on that - I love getting "usable" merchandise like glasses and keychains, but I feel guilty using it! The Pikachu kitchen promotion was absolutely gorgeous! *-* Do you have any photos of your collection?

I know what you mean by guilt. I actually sometimes get more than 1 item so I would use one and collect one. But have I used these items? *shakes head ( ... )

I've done the exact same thing! I got two of a phone strap so I could use one...aaaand it never happened. Glad it's not just me!

Ahhhh your stuff is just to die for! Sorting them by promotion definitely works best imo, and allows you to admire all the artwork from one promotion. The teapot things and chopstick holders might be my favourites. <3

Do you mind if I share some of these on my Pokemon food Tumblr at some point? With the watermarks and a link to your Flicker/blog/whatever you'd like. :>

Thank you so much! I actually got the Pokeball heart earrings a few months ago from Hot Topic, but I still love them. :3

Yes, I collect the kitchenware too! :D I was thinking about showing it off sometime but I just haven't yet because I'm lazy. I have two taiyaki makers, the Pikachu toaster, Pikachu cake pan, some Party City cups, and some 3D printed cookie cutters from Etsy! Oh, and Darumaka chopstick rests!

Late reply, but huzzah for fellow Pokemon kitchenware collectors! I had no idea you collected that stuff, I would definitely love to see photos of your collection! Do you have the official and impossible-to-find Magikarp taiyaki makers, or custom ones? (Is that even a thing? If it is, I need six.) What cookie cutters do you have? :D

Yep, I do have the Magikarp taiyaki maker! When I bought it, they were commonplace on Y!J. I also have one with Johto Pokémon I picked up on eBay.
I have cookie cutters of Growlithe, Arcanine, and a Pokéball! I haven't used them yet, only just got them for Christmas.

Ahhh that's awesome! I didn't even know there was another Pokemon taiyaki maker! Is it official?

Nice! Those cookies cutters are very appropriate, ahaha. I would definitely love to see photos of all these things sometime! :D
