Hey there! Just a quick heads up that the Solgaleo + Lunala edition new3dsxl is now available to pre order from gamestop. No word on the Pikachu version, or any potential n3ds cover plates as of now.

I got one right when they came out, as i was still regretting not buying the gold Zelda ds lite. I really liked how the design was shiny and glittery, it was even glittery on the inside! i hope the Sun/Moon edition is similar!

Kind of like the new galaxy 3ds? lol I think it was originally going to be a 30th anniversary Metroid system, but the negative reaction to federation force probably changed that. They shouldve added the Solgaleo/Lunala images on to the front of it, since it fits the theme better than "solid black". But yeah, I'm all for "galaxy" themed designs / merch !

I'd be all over that yellow system if it used Pokemon yellow version's boxart Pikachu! I do like the fact that its yellow on the inside though....(as opposed to the Pika 3dsxl, that was white on the inside)

Oh no I just looked up the pikachu one and it's adorable. Do you think there will be a US version? I've never really kept up on special edition DSs, usually a keep it til it breaks person but my mom was mentioning if I ever got a new one she would like the old one.

I've never had a special edition console, as I also keep my systems until they break, but my 3DS is in the process of breaking, and I don't have a "new 3ds" yet. :P

Aaaaa, I had the Diamond and Pearl DS way back when. Then it got a chip in it and I hated it and wanted it fixed and it ended up getting broken so bad it didn't work anymore. ;-; If I just left it alone I would probably still have it now. No hard feelings about it though, I have the Pokemon Black DSi and a 3DS now.

I won't be getting one, as of right now I'm not very interested in Gen 7 and actually quite pessimistic. The 3DS design for the games is pretty cool though.

I used mine a lot too, and finally ended up breaking a hinge a few years ago. =( I ordered a replacement shell for the system and attempted to swap it. There were way too many small parts to deal with and I bricked it. =/ I did buy a replacement on ebay, but the touchscreen is scratched up. Dammit. lol

Really? Is it the ultra beasts, or maybe the new Pokemon designs? I admit some of the recent reveals have seemed.....not very "true" to the series. I have so many questions!

I've missed every pre order figure after the Platinum Giratina. (which I didnt know about beforehand, and randomly found in best buy on launch day) I'm sure as shit not paying extra for that amazon steelbook. lol

I'm sure there will be enough Sun/Moon merch that we wont even miss the pre order figures.... maybe theyll show up in TCG boxes or something. I'm hoping that toys r us does another pre order bonus like they did for ORAS. ( a pokecen mega charizard plush free with purchase of both versions) Where do you get yours at, game?

Oh, I haven't pre-ordered yet. I'm fine really, I'm not in a big rush to pre-order unless there's a good reason for myself. But I'm going with Sun version currently, and its EB Games here in Canada.

Thats right.... I think game is in the UK. I used to love Eb games, I even shopped there back when it was still Electronics Boutique. lol Damn gamestop, they bought Eb and funcoland. =(

If there arent any good pre order bonuses, I wont even bother with pre ordering. I mean, its not like they'll run out of copies... I'm sure every major store will have plenty.

State side there is also a Pokemon sun and moon collectors vault for 130.00. I bought it.. I have no idea what it is. Looks like the game . Collectors guide. Steel book and pins. I'm not sure if it's listed anymore . If the server traffic ever slows down I'll snap a pic and read more about it. I like the design of the 3ds and the designs on the backside of it. Sun lion for the win.

Where did you buy it, amazon? I'm waiting to see what pre order bonuses will become available in the next few weeks, I hope Toys R us has another kickass "ORAS" style deal with a free plush or something.

Is this what you were talking about? I cant believe that a collectors edition guide costs $50 more than buying both versions of the game. =O I dont even bother with the paperback version. lol I just use Serebii until the "Pokedex volume" gets released. The first volume is just a story walkthrough. (usually with errors and missing important info)
