Charmander and Charizard are my FAVORITE Pokemon of ALL TIME!
I've loved them, but especially Charmander, since my childhood! Charmander is the cutest Pokemon with the cutest personality, and Charizard is the coolest. I love them both to bits and pieces <3
If I had to name you a Pokemon that was both cute and just friendly and nice and warmhearted, I would immediately say Charmander. This is how I see Charmander's personality.
When I played Yellow as a child, which was my first game, I was always so much looking forward to receiving Charmander in the game and he would be my most beloved Pokemon and quickly evolve into a Charizard!

Fun fact: as a kid, Charmeleon was officially my first favorite Pokemon ever. Red was my favorite color at the time, and I was obsessed with dinosaurs, especially pterodactyls. So what do you get when you see a fire red lizard with the pointed head of a pterodactyl? Answer: TRUE LOVE. xD I have an odd memory of eating cheese sticks at snack time that had Pokemon on the wrappers. I would go around and collect all the ones with Chameleon on them to eat! I also drew a picture of him in a cut out heart. Maybe if I go in the attic I could find that drawing stored away in childhood memory boxes one day.
I hope the Pokemon Center makes an official plush for him someday soon, since Kanto plush have been their main focus for a while!
