Hello there guys! So finally it is time for my 5th anniversary post!!! Since I also got back from Japan a few days ago, I would like to share what I got as well <3
Whoa your collection is more amazing than before and I'm glad I was able to help you with just like you've helped me with mine. And what a amazing haul you got. I gotta get to the Pokemon Center someday. And I so can't wait for my package to arrive I'm so excited
Dude, do you actually realize how much freaking merchandise you get in the USA? I am from freaking Europe, where there is NO NY Nintendo store, no PC.com, NOTHING!!! The only times we get something are just lucky finds in toy stores of TOMY figures and a few plush, which are even super overpriced.
PC.com gets updated a LOT from what I have seen, you get constant new items in the site, even merchandise that is one of a kind and doesn't get released in Japan. While it is not as much as Japan, what you get can't be compared to us Europeans who not only do not have next to nothing in merch, but when we receive our packages, we pay so much fees in customs! How would you feel if every goddamn package that is over 20$ worth you would have to pay customs fees for, which btw is 20% of the entire value + shipping to you. This is a lot of European collectors in a nutshell.
So please, STOP. You actually get much much more than others in terms of merchandise!
Congrats! Your collection is really awesome *^* And I love how you have them on cabinets, it's so nice to see them! I have been thinking about buying the Charmander 1:1 but I wasn't sure since I got the Heartland, could you do a photo with both of them together? >.< I'd love to compare them if it's possible
Thank you so much! I could do that, but atm, I need to clean up all this stuff, so I won't have time for now take a photo of them (Heartland mander is under my bed, and just getting to it will require a lot of space, since I need to take out the mattress and other things)
Wow your collection is so impressive!! And that nostalgia feel, I'm also 24 and grew up in the german Pokemon hype era. Back then, there was nobody who didn't know Pokemon, nowadays the craze faded out and you rarely see kids playing the TCG or the main games. Oh I miss the old days ^^
Oooh, sprichst du auch Deutsch? :D Hell yeah, it's nice seeing other fellow German collectors that grew up during that era, back then, Pokemon ruled the world XD
Na klar! uwu I remember there wasn't a single schoolkid that didn't watch Pokemon or play the cards...I hope the hype comes back with every gen, it would be nice to be able to get merch in stores again. The only thing we get are some selected Tomy plush at gamestop and the TCG at biger toy stores.
Your Snivy line collection never fails to make my jaw drop down in pure awe. *drools* …And not just the Snivy's! You take all of your collections to the next level, even if they're side collections! It's so inspiring to see a collector that's willing to go above and beyond for more than 2-3 Pokemon! Your glass cabinets keep everyone nice and organized, but I totally relate to your stress regarding room space! I keep using more and more shelves but STILL! I just know that when I go to Japan, I'll come back with a ton of stuff that might not even fit in my current room space… Can't wait to own a house where I can continue spreading the disease known as collecting! (Or hoarding. Whichever. xD
( ... )
Thank you so much hunnie!!! Hell yeah, I just love my Pokemon so much, can't help it :D Space, UGH! I only have my room for now, but I seriously can't wait to have my own space someday, where I can just take out all of my things! This will also force me to go through my collections and sell extras I do not need!
That plush of Ash's Greninja is amazeballs, because they took the time to make a plush form of him that has a cool pose and all these nice details with the arms and legs to make that pose! Most plush are just generic sitting and standing ones, but not this one!
It sounds weird, but I just took the first Charmander that "winked" at me, if that makes sense? Once he gave me that connection, I grabbed him and told myself, "yes, you will be mine!" Oooh, that doesn't actually sound too bad, because it definitely makes sense! I might go with that, thank you :D
Thank you!! I found them mainly in Akihabara, so I definitely recommend going there and go through a bunch of second hand shops over there :D
