I've never played or seen Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire, so I'm kind of curious about the primal forms. Are they any good? As in, do they expand upon the pokemon, or make them more versatile or powerful?
Aaah this kind of makes me want to tear up since I had kind of wanted to get Primal Groudon + Kyogre plush before they disappeared on the US online PC shop. ;_; The pins are quite nice though, I'm happy these have been getting released semi-regularly. That case (?) next to Sapphire GBA, is that for the 3dsxL?
I know exactly what you mean about the 'standard' PC Groudon; certain items weren't stuffed/dimensional kind of like I expected from the images, and doesn't look nearly as impressive as its Primal counterpart. PC Kyogre got the better end of the 'regular' plush deal, he's actually really cute and well-stuffed! Primal Kyogre kind of makes me giggle because of his teeth, but he's too colorful to turn down. 8D
They are pretty nice! So far, I only have the shiny Mega Rey and Primal Groudon pin, but I'd like to eventually get the other two. And perhaps Magma. I really hope the figure and pin releases are kept up. :D
Oh, NICE. See, look how much Nintendo of the grand ol' US is missing out. If it weren't for the fact the GF/Nintendo were dragging their feet about which bundles they pick and choose to release, I would have waited to upgrade to an N3ds maybe featuring a nice Zygarde-inspired design. Nothing there, so...xD Thanks for the closer picture!
Yaaay! :D My first Pokemon game was Sapphire in 2004, and I loved Kyogre eversince! Now with Alpha Sapphire I get all those feelings again I had 12 years ago :) I also started to read the Hoenn manga, and it's lots and lots about Groudon and Kyogre! :D Love them!
The Tomy recall plush for both of them look so squishy. I can see why your Kyogre gets many hugs. 8D Really cool coin too, is it kind of one of those holographic ones?
The body is kind of firm, but not too firm. Just well stuffed. It's also really fuzzy; I like the material. :) I like how the arms/fins are so floppy too.
I'm not sure if id call it holographic. It looks just black until you put it in the right light, then it looks like there's a little 3D kyogre in there. It's pretty cool.

Btw I have to say..the giant figure that TOMY released this past fall that's on sale at TRU is amazing! It's so big lol

I'm not sure if id call it holographic. It looks just black until you put it in the right light, then it looks like there's a little 3D kyogre in there. It's pretty cool.
