Ah, thank you for placing a limit on pictures outside of a cut! That's been my wish, for like, the last two months XD Also thanks to you mods for doing everything you do <3 Can't wait for the Secret Spring Swap this year!
I have a question concerning those commitment problems.
Some sales posts have rules like these: - Commitments get priority over quotes. - Please insert a certain word (e.g. "cats") in your comment in order to acknowledge you have read the rules of this sales post. But there's no rule to be found that states what will happen if someone forgets to use the word. I think most sellers will ask the person to re-read their rules - without giving a total.
So what happens in the following scenario? Who will get the item? - Person A writes at 8:00PM: "I'm committed to item X to ..." - Person B writes at 8:05PM: "I'm committed to item X to ... because I love cats." - Person A edits their comment or adds a comment to add the "cats" part at a certain point, maybe before 8:05 PM or maybe afterwards.
If a specific situation like that happened and we were notified, we would interpret person A's comment as being invalid if they didn't edit in the specific keyword before person B's comment. Sellers usually put in those keywords specifically to make sure people are reading the rules, but if Person A didn't put in the keyword to prove they have read and agreed to the seller's policies, then the seller can deem their comment as invalid for not following their rules.
So basically, edit BEFORE Person B chimes in > Person A would get the item Edit AFTER Person B, or doesn't edit it in at all > invalid commitment comment due to not abiding by the seller's rules.
Yep, that helps a lot and makes it clear! Thank you! :)
Actually, I was in such a situation once but since I was the one who got the item in the end, I had no reason to notify the mods ^^ I was Person B and committed to the item along with the keyword before Person A edited their comment. So everything was correct. :D
Thank you so much for clarifying things once again. :3 I have read all the community rules at least twice and very carefully, but I still make mistakes sometimes. :< I am sorry for that. But these kind of reminders work great! Thank you for all your hard work keeping this place clean and making it an awesome community. ^_^ ♡
It's actually very hard to get in trouble on the community. Even if you forget a little rule, we'll just remind you! <3 So don't worry too much, just try your best. :)

I hope that clears things up a bit. ^^
