Hey guys! It's been awhile I haven't posted anything about custom figures... So now I'm back for more! I'm pretty interested in dynamic and detailed miniatures and Kaiyodo absolutely delivers pretty much "Perfect" figures, at least for me. Anyhow, without further ado, here are my prototypes! One last thing, sorry for the bad photography, lol. All I ( Read more... )

These are beautiful! Would you be open for commissions in the future? <3

Thank you so much for your interest. I probably will be open for commissions in the near future. I originally applied for sales permission for the sole purpose of working on commissions, but sadly, members here have already fooled and tricked me and I lost a lot of money for nothing. They even had 100% feedback. I'll definitely post it here when I get my motivation back :) Thank you so much!

Ah, Im so very sorry to hear. :( That's unfortunate. Im not sure exatly what the case was, but maybe you could consider being paid up front or a nonrefundable deposit to secure slots (that goes towards commission price) so you dont totally lose out in the future.

Well, whenever you decide you want to open commissions, I'm definitely itching for some new Shiny Bellossom items, and customs are the only way to go. <3
Feel free to tag me in a post or send me a pm, if you'd like of course, when you're ready!

Yeah it was very sad, haha, but anyways, yes it was because I never asked for upfront payment. For all the commissions I did I never asked for upfront payment because I thought I could trust them, but I was wrong. I always gave updates and when everything was done they just backed out. Even with non-refundable deposit, if the commissioner files a dispute, Paypal doesn't ask questions. I've already experienced it. I submitted all evidence that I didn't do anything wrong, Paypal ignored everything, so I gave up and just let go. But really, thank you so much for your interest, it means a lot to me and your interest will surely fuel my desire to work on commissions again.

if you dont mind me asking what are you using for water?

Thank you very much :) Well the water splash is resin, the same material that is used to mass produce figures. You can't make clear water with clay, so you have to sculpt it with clay and use silicone to make a mold, then cast clear resin into the mold. It's a pretty tedious process and it's a lot of money to produce 1 cast since silicone can only be used once. But it's really fun :)

looks a lot better than my water. Are you using the 2 part resin thing, have you tried baking it?

Haha I love the Digimon figure. I make digimon too. Anyhow, yeah if you're using polymer clay you have to bake it, but you can't bake resin. Yeah you're right, it's that thing that has 2 parts. I have epoxy resin and polyurethane resin.

Here are my Digimons...

Thank you so much :) I use Super sculpey, Super sculpey firm and du-kit. The clear parts are resin casted using a silicone mold.

Wow. These are amazing! I love Kaiyodo figures for their dynamic poses too. :D Would you ever consider doing a human commission? I personally would love to see Morty. :)

Thank you so much :) It means a lot to me. I actually make all sorts of stuff, human, monster, anime, realistic, semirealistic, doll so yeah I can do Morty, but not at the moment. Like I said in previous replies...
