Out of curiosity, why did that zigzagoon become so rare?

They just didn't make very many, it was during the lull after gen 2 but before the post 4 gen boom.

And I'm pretty sure its the only Zigzagoon plush (at least I think) ! That always makes plush rare when its of a Pokemon with little merch

I'm hoping to find either Pachirisu, Weavile, or Buneary. The first two are higher priority for me, but I'm really broke at the moment so I'm not sure if I can afford any of them.
