I guess Ninetales would be something that doesn't have "as much" or if you do find things they instantly poof into existence... if you can find them! So since she's a main collection of mine I try to find everything I can of hers. It's mainly flats most of the time and if I haven't bought something in a long time of her's I might go to my lowest priority (the trading cards) and buy one. I do search around a lot for the metals/mini models. I haven't been able to update my metal collection for over a year now and just very recently I managed to find a yellow mini model so in a way, it's like gold when you find something xD! But there's at least something out there to find. With that Japanese promotion that Ninetales was featured on I pretty much want to get everything with her pattern on...when I can! :3 ( ... )

I always rather thought that Ninetails has a lot of merchandise, just like almost every Gen 1 Pokemon. Sure, she doesn't have a plush, but seriously, she has endless amounts of flats and especially figures. Mini models and metal figures in different colours, zukan, TOMY...tons! I think she has much more merch in contrast to other Pokes, it's just that her merch is harder to get, since she is so popular.

I'm a little picky, I don't collect flats (unless its custom and I don't actively seek it), but I collect what I can. Like xxlatiosxx, I also collect Ninetales and there's not much for him. So far I just have some figures (kids, FCS), a custom figure and custom plush (he was a gift <3) but I try to get any new figures/plush that come out and if I feel I need more I like to make customs. I actually prefer shiny Ninetales to regular and there's no official merch so I'm painting a junkie kid and plan on making plushies at some point in the distant future. Same with Skiddo/Gogoat, they don't have much yet and now ORAS hype is up so they may not get much more. I'll probably make little sculptures or plushies or commission them if I have spare money (haha no, college student budget).

Oh don't get me wrong, Ninetales has merch especially compared to others. However I don't collect flats so that narrows the scope considerably. I'm also picky so while I have a few FCS figures I'm not hardcore collecting every version that came out, same with the metal figures. This just leaves me with kids, Tomy's and the zukan. With my collection the way it is now, my Ninetales collection is nearly complete as I'm only lacking the zukan and clear kid and I haven't been actively seeking Ninetales for a bit. I often view these type of collections as 'Beginner-Intermediate' mode as there's not a lot to seek and not a ton of the items will cost an arm and a leg.

at this point i'm just collecting literally everything that features any of the pokemon i collect (except for Vanillite line) especially with Groudon since it's pretty hard for me to find any 'just groudon' things i don't already own x3 Basically when i become obsessed anything with their face will do xD

That's interesting! Legendaries always tend to have a lot of merchandise, so I think they are as hard to collect as starters (as a Snivy line collector, I can at least relate to this)!
Honestly, now that ORAS will come out, you will see tons of merch :D
I am happy for you!

I stick to mostly figures and plush of all dragons. Legendaries I am picky on so maybe just a plush or two.

Yeah, I hear ya. Most dragon Pokemon tend to have at least a plush or figure, so I can imagine that it would be hard to get everything XD

I'm a collector of Mightyena... and to be honest, there is quite a bit more merchandise than I originally thought there was, but at the same time, it's actually quite limited anyway ( ... )

I think that any Pokemon can have a lot of merchandise if you look properly. Just with a lot of flats it can become a huge collection! My Honedge line doesn't have that much, but once looking through a bunch of things, I managed to make a big collection, even though most of them are flats!
