Four years anniversary: Collection Update + Re-Intro!

So, somehow, it's been four years since I joined Pokemon Collectors!  I don't remember my exact join date, but I posted my introduction back in August 2009 and I remember that I had been lurking on the community for some time before then. :D

This collection is amazing. What I love about users' collections, like your's is that when you collect a specific mon when you take a picture it is all that colour, but in different forms which makes it cooler!

As well, a timbit of info, that pidgey your friend gave you is actually rarer than most base set pidgeys, as it is a shadowless card.

I've heard some people refer to the shadowless cards as "second edition," but I assume "shadowless" is more commonly used since it's not like any of the other sets got shadowless cards?

Basically Shadowless is an interesting part about Base Set.
The later runs had the shadows printed around the image of the card...
Meaning this card was one of the first.
Of course there was 1st ed shadowless as well :)

Glad to see that someone else uses their floor to display a lot of their collection! xD I just don't have the space for them all! Awesome collection :D You certainly have gathered a lot of awesome items over four years ^^ Quick question, what is the make/name of the Bulba under the Jumpluff plush? :3

wow, what a collection!! i knew you liked ghosts, but i didn't know you had a generous amount of other pokes too! how awesome!!!

base set pidgey was one of the first cards i received too!! my first one ever was a meowth, given to me from a friend; but when i bought my first ever pack of pokemon cards when i was 9, pidgey was in that pack of cards!

where in nova do you live? :] my boyfriend and i ventured up to micro center recently on a random weekend, and we go magfest every year near dc, but it's neat to see other pkmncollectors around x)

I live in Falls Church, very close to Tysons Corner. Micro Center is THE BEST EVER. I went to Magfest 2012, and I wanted to go this year too, but I had to save up my vacation days for a trip my family was planning.

haha, i so know that feel. i purchased so many non-main collection things recently it's insane.

oh nice!! tyson's corner is our next adventure. we've driven by it on the interstate many times, but never actually shopped there. and man, i probably saw you at magfest in 2012, but there were sooo many people there it's hard to tell, haha. if you ever go to another magfest, you can find me near the wall of dance games x)

Tysons Corner is worth visiting at least once, I think. They have your standard mall fare (GAP, American Eagle, Sephora, Icing/Claires, Spencer's, etc.), and then they have some more interesting stores too like Swarovski and Lovesac (giant beanbag chairs!).
