Does any one know the eBay member akifukete? Apparently my dad bought a Bayleaf plush (one I've had on my wants list for a while - he's been on eBay buying me plushes xD ) from them with Paypal (no eBay transaction), and there has been no contact what so ever. We've tried to message them, but to no avail. It's been about 14 days. We opened a case ( Read more... )

My friend tried to do business with her. Had to get her money back in the end, it was a whole mess that caused a lot of stress. Always check the community blacklist!

I would say for the future never do sales on ebay through the messaging system since it's not done through ebay, they can't protect you if something goes wrong. the best way is to purchase the item from the listing so there is proof of when it was purchased and when payment was sent. Also another reason why is if you don't get the item or anything you can leave negative feedback on it, where as through messages they can scam you and you can't leave them any kind of feedback. Right now your only option is paypal and hoping they side with you.

I'm sorry for what happened that'd be really annoying and good luck =D

^ That.

Also, maybe instead of having your dad tell you if he's buying something, maybe print off the community banned list and see if you can get any information on their other accounts like on eBay, so that he can be more aware if they're bad sellers? ^^

That, and I think this community has a bootlegged seller list, too. So he can just keep those lists handy. :D If my mom was trying to do something like that, that's what I'd probably do for her.

So that way, maybe he doesn't always have to ask you about something when he wants to get something for you as a gift~ <3

She says she has family issues or something. I bought a Vaporeon pokedoll off of her in September before I knew she was a banned member and it came within a month...which is still pretty long for a straight sale. However, she was responsive back then and answered most of my emails. I guess like other ppl are saying just open a dispute if it gets close to the Paypal deadline
