This has been on my friendslist for a while. I really like looking at the pictures, even though I don't own the books.

Yep. I had a real "whoa, *that* Barbara Walker?!?!?!" moment when I figured it out, followed quickly by great glee at the fact that one of my feminist heroes was also a knitting guru.
