"Update: (February 2012) Michael Bay has been persuaded to stay on for a fourth movie. Shia is gone. Transformers 4 will replace all the human characters with an entirely new cast. They haven’t decided yet how they are going to handle the robots - they may reboot them too, they may not. The release date is summer 2014."

And I agree with you: losing Lennox will be SAD. Epicly sad.
Personally, I do think they'll reboot the Transformers, too. I think they might go down the plot line of where it's Sam and Carly's kid taking over the human-alien liason. And if they do reboot the Transformers, surely Optimus will be back, right? Because TF isn't TF without our number one semi truck.
Prowl better be in this one, too, if it's actually made... Grrr. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO KILL JAZZ?! They can bring back Optimus, Megatron, and Sentinel, but no one else? Grrr.

All of the human cast won't return (it's going to have new plot and all - maybe Galvatron, he's rumored) But no Sam, Carly, Mikki,or other humans from the previous movies.
But who cares about the human!? I just want me some giant robots!!! XD
Yeah, I want Prowl so much as well! And stupid Bay for killing Jazz (imagine if Prowl is the new movie and then HE is killed, now that just blowsss) :D
