any good shows to watch?

Well as many of you can guess I'm not very happy with season 2 of Merlin at the moment and I have a lot of spare time on my hands. At the moment I'm following Merlin (it's like suicide, but slower), Legend of the Seeker (cannot air fast enough haha), Grey's Anatomy (on a freaking 1+ month hiatus) and Heroes (why am I even watching this). Um, have you tried Supernatural? Yes, the fandom is the craziest of the crazies, but it is my favourite show atm. Also, the pretty *points to icon*

I'd like for it to be a current show, but I don't really mind (like, I caught up with True Blood while it had stopped airing). Not really old stuff though xD I've only been alive 17 years lol

I like that even though they're both kind of murderous, their relationship is still adorable. Also, the angstyness is ideal for fic-writing :D (I have two modes of writing: incredibly silly crack and serious and angsty

Lol, I might be the only person alive not to have watched Buffy *ducks tomatoes* To be fair I've spent most of my life anywhere but in Britain and I only lived in the USA for 9 months (I was 9. So maybe not so appropriate, yes?)

I actually caught an ep of The Big Bang Theory the other day, I was so proud of myself. It was the one where that chick from Charmed was a guest star (the fourth, blonde one that wasn't really a Halliwell).

Yes Blackadder! Must remind myself to watch that. Can you believe I got through A-level English without ever watching that show? xD

Yes it is uncommon to be 17 and on a gap year, I was moved up a year, went from year 6 to year 8 :) So when I go to uni I'll be the normal age lol xD

Yes LotS is great! Everyone in it is so pretty :D I've sort of given up on Merlin, it brings the laughs but I get an empty sense in my stomach what with all the inconsistencies and plotholes. And the fact that Morgana likes to disappear into a black hole every episode x_x

Thanks for the recommendations! I've heard a lot about Glee and Fringe so I'll definitely try them out :D

SUPERNATURAL. LOOK AT THE PRETTINESS OF MY ICON, RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. You must watch it. It's probably the best show on TV right now.

I recommend The Big Bang Theory if you are into comedies, it's about geeks. How I met your mother is also very good.

Also if you're into old shows, you can give Farscape a try. It's a sci-fi show, it had four seasons and a miniseries to wrap up all the storylines. Best sci-fi show in years, too bad it got canceled, but at least we got a resolution with the mini.

I definitely recommend Glee! It's really fun to watch them do covers of songs and all the characters are pretty likeable and aren't one dimensional like how most high school-centered shows are. ♥

Sooo glad you're watching LoTS too! I've quit Merlin, so it's fantastic that we've got another show in common. ♥

I haven't watched any of it, but I think you'd enjoy Supernatural or maybe Vampire Diaries too. Lots of people on my flist seem to love those two series.

XDD Haha, I still can't help but read spoilers for Merlin and watch most Morgana-heavy episodes. She's too gorgeous to resist. Now if only they put back ArMor interaction, I'd be back for sure. ♥

I love The It Crowd :). I don't watch a lot of TV because I prefer to watch a series once one of its seasons are over so that I can do a marathon. Word to whoever mentioned 30 Rock. Even though, Life has been canceled, it was an amazing show and you should still go watch it. Try Avatar as well, because that show was nothing short of brilliant. Oh and Wizards of Waverly Place XD.
