Ghost Stories

I made mention in a comment that I've had my fair share of experiences with the paranormal and taimoset wanted me to "spill", so here goes it. Now, I don't know if any of you believe in ghosts, spirits or anything supernatural, and sometimes I'm not even sure what I believe, but strange things have happened to me over the years so I'm not about to ( Read more... )

Omg! I know things like that happen every now and then but you seem to have had a fair share of them. ^^ I have yet to come across such encounters though.

A friend of mine thinks I mmight be sensitive, but I don't know. Maybe it's because I believe that I allow myself to have this happen to me...?

Thank you so much for sharing all these intense moments with us. It was very interesting to read about it! *hugs*

Sabina and I (and even Emma) had an experience with a curious spirit, seen as a shadow flying through our hall. I was inexperienced in paganism and didn't protect myself properly during a spell. In the night Sabina and I woke up, because Emma was hissing and grumbling. We switched on the light and saw her sitting in front of our half open bedroom door and staring out in to the hall. Her fur stood on end. We followed her sight and saw this shadow flying through our hall. Emma was scared like hell. Sabina and I were staring at each other and it was sure that we both had seen this mysterious something. We think it was a curious spirit who followed the traces of energy I had left. You may be laugh, but it was really creepy and since that night I'm always doing a circle!

You're welcome. Sometimes I feel strange talking about it, only because there are so many people out there who don't believe, and when you believe or think you've had things happen...it's hard, you know?

Wow, I've yet to have something happen to me like that, and I can't even begin to think of how I might react. I've never been woken up or seen anything that didn't look like a person. I've felt things when I haven't seen them, though, mostly at night and that's when I close my eyes and jump under the covers, lol. Did you know, if when I'm in my room, watching tv or reading, and feel like I'm not alone or start getting creeped out, I have to cover my feet with my blankets? Doesn't have to be all of me, just my feet.

Maybe it gives you a feeling of safety when you cover your feet or just a part of your body. Who knows how our brains work. I do believe in ghosts or spirits. And I think those entities show themselves only to people who believe in their existens or really want to meet them. ;)

Oooh - good spooky stories. I like! I used to live in a house with a resident ghost, and I didn't mind her at all, but other people's ghost stories always give me the shivers. *g*

Whenever something unexplained happens in the store I just tell people it's the Ghost, and bet everyone just thinks I'm joking when really I'm being serious, lol. I think the one in the store is harmless and just wants to have a little fun, so I find myself sometimes saying "Hi" when I feel like I'm not alone when I'm the only one in the store.

That is so awesome, and they all seem super comforting too.

I think why I haven't had any experiences is that I WANT to see them haha.

I'm glad they've all been comforting spirits. I'm not sure what I would have done otherwise, lol.

For me, it's not that I want or don't want to see them, it's more that I believe and I think that's why they do show themselves when they want to.
