Okay, this is a little bit late in the night / morning, but that's only because I didn't get home until an hour ago. I went to a party at a friend's house, and it was... wonderful. Great food, great conversation, and great people. Though it wasn't in the original plan, mom came to the party too, and, as usual, was an awesome asset to the affair.

Julia kept all of the leftovers. Although she might not be finishing my cake anytime soon as she claims it's too pretty to cut.

It was good hearing your voice last night, and I'm glad to see that you actually got out and enjoyed yourself on New Year's Eve. Last year was a year of change and positive growth, let's hope this one is too.
