No, I'm not stopping

Nov 30, 2010 14:10

Is loving and enjoying something so wrong? Especially while I'm still young and single.

I can't wait for Ikkicon; I can maybe meet new friends and do the things I enjoy with other people that enjoy it. I can't have that chance in Victoria.

I'm not going to stop what I love. ;_; The only person that controls my actions is me.

my actions are my own, daily life, love

-___- whatever's going on, do what you want to.

This is where significant others come in as a negative thing.

BAH. SCREW THEM ALL.

DO WHATEVER THE FXXK YOU WANNA!

Well, I don't have a significant other so it doesn't have anything to do with that, it's something else :/

><;

I meant more like you can do what you want because you don't have a significant other.

I can't do what I want because I have to be "approved" by my significant other. This is why military life sucks when you go back to civilian life after a few years.

nah Don't listen to them. Do what you want to do :) but I do have a question. What does being single have to do with anything? It is accually alot of fun cosplaying with an significant other :) it's also cute doing couples ^-^

Well I meant in terms of being married/having children. Once that happens, it'll be impossible for me to really do cosplay.

No, couple cosplay is great, if I had someone like that to share it with.

I think you are right. There are so many people who love seeing others suffering, because that's the only thing that relieves their own suffering. They are sick, it's better ignoring them.

True. :/ It's hard to ignore them when they are so ..close to you, ya know?

You know, maybe since there are no opportunities in Victoria, like you say, maybe you should start an opportunity. Make some business cards and a website and find out how many other cosplayers are in Victoria who are just looking for that little kick out the door and into a Victoria cosplay groupie thingy (sorry, my business vocabulary sucks). It may start small, but all great things do.

True. It's tough though, many of the cosplayers I used to know (And they don't like me anymore)...or there just aren't enough other people really into it. :/ It's a small town.
