All this use of "Hiroshi" is really confusing me. But that's just one thing I bring to reading this, since I associate Higa almost entirely by their last names, so reading their first names is just...odd...for me

I know it's very confusing. Just think if I'd written Yagyuu into this fic.

The ferry just did not fit. It was my intention to include that scene, but it changed the atmosphere and the tone that I wanted to convey. I'm sure I'll manage it someplace - an after-fic vignette, perhaps. Ehehe, you know where this is going, though. And it will be filled with good feelings and happy endings. :D

If you'll remember, Kite's mother knows that he's gay - they talked about it in a previous chapter. His father keeps his head in the sand, he's happier that way. In any event, I'm covering some of that in the next chapter, fear not.

I'll miss writing it when I'm done, but it's time to end it, I think. It's gone where I wanted it to go. It'll probably be a month before I post the next chapter, but we'll see. I have Kite/Mizuki to finish, first. Besides, you know I'm going to be EXTRA-LAZY this weekend. :D :D :D

One thing I was thinking about this morning, actually, and wanted to tell you is that I hope- I really, really hope- Kai shows up in the next bit. *sparkly eyes of lame*

This chapter was lovely. From Kite's mother just /knowing/... though I'm sure she'll give them a hard time in the morning... to Tezuka's hesitant admission of his own desire. It was all beautiful and perfect.

I adored the Rin and Chinen bits too... I am /so/ looking forward to them finally getting together. It's nice to see Rin settling down a little. ^__^
