Hair Butchery

So, after today’s horrible cut I now have three instances in the last year where I have gone to the hair dresser wanting one thing and come out with the opposite. Why is this? Am I speaking Latin to these women? I have gone round and round with different people and none of them can do my hair justice.

ohh...i miss my long hair too. your long hair looks so pretty! i love thickness. mine is very thin and straight.

See it was the thickness that made me cut my long hair in the end. I just felt like it was a lions mane. Pretty - yes, but also untameable.

It's weird, because these people have to go to school to learn the trade of hair styling and they have to graduate in order to cut hair, so why are there so many horrible stylist out there?

i hope your hair appointment went well this morning. getting a hair cut is always stressful. more times than not, you get what you pay for. (sometimes) i have a friend who paid $80 for a hair cut and they butchered her. i've come to realize that if you have thick hair, they screw it up. if you want a trim(blunt cut) they screw it up. or if you want a pixie cut they almost always screw it up. i hope you can find somebody that you can stick with.

That's the reason I am trying to get the pixie cut grown out. I just can't seem to find anyone who will cut it right. I like short hair on me, but I am tired of coming home from the hair salon in tears.

The woman I went to today did as best she could to fix my hair. I don't love what she did, but really she didn't have much to work with. I made another appointment with her in a month and I hope she will be one that I can stay with. I'm tired of searching for a hair dresser.
