Reading About Columbine

I just spent 2 hours engrossed in a book about the Columbine Shootings I'm reading. I don't read a lot of non fiction. Eep. That was a mortal wound in the fabric of my humble, hippie-love state. I don't think we'll ever fully get over it, or around it . . . Maybe above it, someday . . . . I was pretty young and can't even really remember much about that day except sitting on the couch and just crying for hours and hours. I think it was the first time that I really understood that people can do horrible things to each other.

For some reason I can't remember much of that day thus another reason I wanted to read this. I was astounded at what really happened. I had no idea. At times I can't put the book down and at other times I wish I could, because it really makes me sad to think two people could cause so much damage. It wasn't just supposed to be a shooting spree. They had huge propane bombs rigged up all over the school, but they never blew up. The lead ringer Eric Harris intended to blow up everyone.

That's some sick person. Someone with a God like complex. He is the epitome of evil.

Which book are you reading?

The Hour I First Believed by Wally Lamb tells an amazing story of the Columbine shootings, but it is considered fiction.

This one.

But, I'll have to check out the one you mentioned. I'll see if the library has it.
