Coffee on the Go!

In Alaska we have these little drive through coffee huts. They are like the drive through at McDonalds except instead of fast food you get specialty coffee.

I so wish we had those here in Michigan.

EDIT - So, yeah ... apparently these drive throughs exists everywhere and here all these years I thought it was just an Alaskan thing. lol

Yes they have them in Seattle ALL over the place but I think I might have seen one on Navarre Ave but it closed down. Other than the starbucks drive thru I've seen.

Personally I would go to a shack before starbucks because the customer service is much better and most of the time the coffee is too!

The only Starbucks I have ever bought in Toledo was at Barnes and Noble and I'm sure that one doesn't have a drive thru ... it would be nice though. So, where is this Starbucks with the drive thru?

I like the huts, because in Alaska they give you free chocolate covered coffee beans with your drink.

Try Biggby coffee in Michigan, there's some here in Toledo. They used to be Beaners, but changed the name to be politically correct. McDonalds does now have speciality coffee, but Biggby is better. They do also have a website, biggby dot com, that will let you search for locations. If you join the online club, they send coupons once a week, sometimes buy one get one free, or $1 off a large coffee. They also have a frequent buyer card, buy 12 get one free. Can you tell I go there a lot??

Maybe I'm missing the obvious, but what's politically incorrect about the name Beaners?

I'll check that website out. Really, though I'd like to go to a place that is close to the mall since I'm there all the time. Yesterday after work I drove from Old Navy out to Borders and had to get out of my car again just to get a cup of coffee.

True True! It's a must up there ... I mean really, who wants to get out of their car for a cup of coffee when it's negative 40.
