Well, classes look good and bad. There's one overcrowded class that's going to be a ton of work judging by what's already been assigned. It's okay though, I asked for it. It'll build character. I'll keep telling myself that though ( Read more... )

Oooh, interesting. Did you just get into your undergrad studies? What classes are you taking? Where are you going to?

And I totally empathize with feeling like an outsider in situations like that too. Making new friends always brings out the stammering school-girl in me... you sound like you're doing far better than I would, honestly! XD

It's kind of weird. I'm somewhere in the middle, transferred to a new program and a different state school (yay cheap, nearby!), taking too many classes and hoping this first term with it goes well. (I didn't mean to but the schedule worked out that way.) I still see people I know occasionally when I'm in buildings shared with other fields or where requirements take place, but I'm kind of meeting people and ideas at a whirlwind pace. @_@ I feel like not everything I'm trying to learn is going to stick to my brain but I've got to try.

I've always told myself I can always just stop if I find the work not to my taste... because I still don't know what I plan to do in the future. ^^;
