Thank you! It was made by the oh-so-talented so_severus, although to be honest I'd actually intended to use a different one for this post but forgot *goes to change it to an angry icon*

I like what I'm reading. Even though I can understand sometimes there's no other way but divorce, I think it's too easy nowadays to end marriage. Sometimes people don't even try to work on their relationship, they choose the less trubling solution and don't even bother talking to each other. Sad :(

One of the reasons I've always said no to any marriage proposal is because I've had doubts and if I ever do get married it will be doubt free or not at all.
Getting married to me is forever and ever, it just makes me sick how lightly people enter into it and discard it.

Ugh, I agree entirely. It's like "hey, I'm bored, let's get married!"

gah.

I'll agree it was a stupid writer's block.

...but I think the option for divorce is incredibly important. Of course you should enter a marriage intending to be with the person forever... but sometimes situations change and people change for better or for worse. I would like to have the option to divorce a husband if he goes crazy one day and starts beating me up. I don't think its an attention span problem, just that its more realistic than what we used to be in the past.

Of course when these silly rules of marriage were first put into place we lived for maybe 40 years anyways. 70 years of marriage is a LONG time.
