So here's the deal. Before I got on the plane to London, my friends (particularly S and SP) and my brother, and even my grandparents, were really seriously irritating me. Not in a "oh you're so annoying" kind of way, an actual "I'll make excuses and blatently lie so I don't have to talk to you because when I do, afterwards I want to punch things"

In my opinion, your friends don't have share all or even one of your interests (although it is good if you have a friend to talk with about an interest, of course!) - it's more important that they are generally on the same WAVELENGTH/same outlook on life/CORE VALUES. But it sounds like you're not exactly getting that from these particular people either.

I think it might be the wavelength thing more than anything that's the problem. Alsoooo they don't really respect our differences as a positive. Everything's just SO NEGATIVE WEIGHING ME DOWN and dnw that, frankly.
