I glossed over the months of bumps and stress and my god you freak get your work stuff off the dining room table your parents are coming over. lol- My in laws definitely required a learning curve.
I'm excited to see you here too. *grin*
(I had to look up the cut code to use!)
Very exciting, but I'ld love to hear how you are. Well I hope?
I'm so happy for you both. You've been together for a while now. That is exciting!
I'm sorry to hear about your arm, and the less than positive work place. The always took advantage of you IIRC. Doesn't your sister work close to your job though?
How awesome to hear from you, especially when it's such wonderful news! I'm just thrilled to hear that you're happy and that everything worked out so fabulously for you.
It would probably be really mean of me to tell you that you're missing the most awesome Texan Autumn days lately, wouldn't it? We've had lows around 50, highs in the 70s, with lots of sunshine and a bright blue sky... *grins*
It feels wonderful to have the news. While it was happening it was whirlwind and dramatic and nervewracking, but we are crazy about each other. And the area of Michigan I'm in is lovely too.
But yes, rubbing in a gorgeous Texan fall is bad form. I love Texas weather. I really did not enjoy the winters here. At all.
You all is well with you and the kiddies. I did a brief scroll through, and work seems crazy, but the kids are alright?
It is soooo good to see you, dear!! And I'm so glad for all the great news in your life! And you're in Michigan!! So close to me (well, closer than TX).
I have missed you, hon, and I am so glad you stopped by to fill us in. Hope you might stop by more often.
Life has been ... nuts for me. I changed jobs almost 4 years ago and I work for a university research group. I like it but more importantly it's free tuition for the four boys when they're ready. My oldest is 16 1/2, next one is 15, then one is 12, and the baby (!) is 9 1/2.
I sort of fell off the face of the LJ earth for a while - had a few deaths in the family that threw me for a loop, most recently was my only brother that died very unexpectedly. I'm back, albeit not quite regularly but am trying to be more regular.
We are close to Ohio now. I keep seeing adverts for amusement parks in Ohio, even things in Toledo. :)
I am hoping to stop by more often, but I really don't spend much time online nowadays.
*hugs* I am so sorry to hear about your brother and the others. I can not imagine the pain that would cause. I get sick thinking of losing one of mine.
I can't believe how old the boys are! That really shows how long it's been! *laughs* Your oldest will be driving soon and will let you off the carpooling hook. :)
Congrats on the new job, and yes, free tuition is stellar. (big grin)
Oh my gods! This is the best surprise I've had in a while. I'm so glad to hear you're doing well! I think I've said in the past that fall brings good things. August, too, apparently - congratulations!
I'm back in school now...a few years on the job convinced me I needed the degree. I split time between jujitsu, college, and writing. Pretty much in that order. Anyway, really good to hear from you. Hope to see you around here more often. :)
*grin* It's always nice to be heartily hallo'ed! It's good to see you about as well.
Fall is a great time of year, and thanks for the congrats. I'm so glad to hear you are back to school after a break and experience in the job market. A mix of both is good for most I think. Very good that you are still pursuing both of your arts.
Still on the East Coast in the US, or have you gone back to Canada?
(and hopefully I can get myself back into the discipline of posting)

This will amuse you, I think. I'm back at UConn. Turns out a lot of places aren't so bad when you look at them with a more mellow perspective. I may be doing grad school in Boston in a couple years, too, so that should be nice.
