This was such an interesting story! I love post-apocalyptic tales, and this one had an unexpected setting.

How frustrating not to have anyone listen, or even hesitate long enough to find out if she was telling the truth.

Really liked this one. Poor girl. I hope the fools who didn't listen left enough rations behind for her to survive a while longer.
