Title: Repairing the World
Rating: PG
Fandom: InuYasha
Pairings: Light Inu/Kag, Mir/San
Warnings: Childbirth, not graphic
A/N: InuYasha-centric. This idea came to me this afternoon and I had to get it out before I lost it. I really like this one. InuYasha thinks more than people think, and he's pretty observant and "gets" more than he might seem to

This story showed his concern for his friends nicely, and I loved his reaction to holding the baby for the first time. It was a nice touch, especially considering the fact that, as a hanyou, he was probably nevered allowed near a child for many, many years. His fascination and cautiousness was believable, as was the general interaction between all of the characters.
Now... Excuse me while I go squee behind the pretty Mir/San that is the basis for this all. ^_^ *is obsessed like that*

*blushblush* You're flattering me really bad, you know that? I'm really pleased with how this turned out...
I'm going to have to do some art of the two of them and the baby, and maybe of InuYasha holding her. I can't not do it, I have the images in my head and I can't get rid of them!

And he is fun to write. I definitely know that I hardly write him enough. I need to play with Inuyasha more... It's hard though, because whenever I try, a certain monk seduces me back to the dark side MiroSan. ^__~
^^ And, hey! If flattery makes you write more... *winkwink* Besides, I'm too overworked to be critical at the moment. Not that there's much to be critic about anyway. You really did do a nice job.
:D And I definitely want to see that image! *nodnod*

I know what you mean, I had to keep a tight rein on myself to only give those two their one line a piece. I've fallen in love with writing Miroku all over again, especially watching the series from the beginning again. He changes a lot more than I thought!
I'm actually working on a chapter fic but I'm hesitant to post it because I worry that the premise is stupid. Also, there's a big (if silly) physical detail about one character that I need to decide on before I go any further with it and I'm being incredibly indecisive because I love this particular thing about him, but getting rid of it might show some serious characterization stuff... Hhnn. D:
♥ Awwz. Thank you.
:DD I'll do it, then!

I love that line. It sums the whole thing up.
Sweet story, doll. And I like that subtle, tiny hint of symbolism, that in having a baby they're healing themselves and moving on. I also adore how you did this from Inuyasha's pov, so flawlessly. >D He'd so be that way. Curious, wanting to get away from the strong smells, but protective and quickly endeared.
