It has a body comprised from various animal parts - generally wings, antlers, tails and fangs, all attached to the body of a small mammal. The most widespread description ( Read more... )

Ahhh! the tribal state is amusing. I love the shot of the Wolpertinger roasting over the fire. That's too cute.

Is that epic disaster attacking thing one of the Pinks or is that something else?
And yes, the fluffy tail is too cute on them!

The epic is something else. A Maxis-made one, I think. The pinks had another name which I can't remember, but the game called their village the Pink Village so I went with that. :)

I was so amused by the marshmallow roasting! I wonder what other little details I'll see if I keep a close eye out. They still have a ways to go - they need to learn to fish and whatnot, and befriend or conquer some more.

I really need to get back into playing that. I played it back on Thursday then the announcement with CoH's shut-down pretty much shifted my gaming time attentions to CoH and then Supernatural came out and that was pretty much all she wrote for Spore. It wasn't out of boredom, it was just sheer 'oooh bigger, shinier things' got my attention. :-| I never even got to tribal level.
The pictures you're posting are just too cute, though.

I really did LOL at the fried eggs just sitting there on that blanket. It reminded me of The Grinch (who left a crumb even too small for a mouse).

The marshmallow roasting is super cute.

The eggs cracked me up, too. There is another thing that reminds me of the Grinch, though I didn't get a pic of it because it's in a cut scene (and I'm too lazy to fire up a screenshot program). It's in Creature stage when your critter gains more brainpower - there's a graphic of the brain growing from smaller to larger, and I always think, "The Wolper's brain grew THREE sizes that day!"

I've never noticed the marsh mallow roasting either, :D I have sat there and got amused at their conversations though.

Love how completely silly the epic creature is in the tribal stage.

The Wolpertinger spaceship is wonderful. When you get to the space stage you'll find it's easy to swap spaceship in and out, so if you don't like the way that it flies, then you can give them another.

The different lights and power options on the spaceship leave different colour effects or trails when you play. I like the prettiness.

Also liked how creative you were with the armour. Those kilt/apron/skirty things do look good as epaulettes.

I can't remember off the top of my head whether or not is is possible to change the colours of the base creature when in the tribal editor mode. Sorry.

I like the mismatch between the Wolpertingers kind of cute smiley faces and the fact that they are bloodthirsty killers. Congratulations on your award :D

I should watch for conversations - I haven't seen that yet! Thank you for the compliments ^_^

I'm looking forward to the space phase! Though I'm a good ways away.

Award? ._.?? I'm confused!
