Ponder Sprocket -- for pixel_trade's Person Below Me, Alien Edition
This is a sim for pixel_trade's latest Person Below Me challege.
My brief, from wgroome: "The person below me will make a purple eyed alien with very large, circular eyes. This alien is a bit of a hermit and isn't too social!"
Ponder Sprocket is a Virgo, though she will tell you that astrology is bunkum. As you might guess, she's a knowledge sim. Her main interests lie in robotics, and she likes nothing better than to be left alone in her lab so she can get some work done.
I wouldn't say she's anti-social. But if she has to be around other people very much, she can get a little stressed. Office parties are the worst. I know the feeling!
My brief specified large, circular eyes. It's not easy to get round eyes in Body Shop. I did the best I could without totally crunching up the eye sockets. I then edited the purple eye from Phobia's Sarhra set, so that the iris was less of a tall oval. I also brightened the color up a bit.
The CC is pretty minimal. Besides the eyes, I did a quick recolor of the alien face speckles that fantasyrogue and petchy made famous. You know the ones. I wanted them to be subtle, almost the color of her skin between the eyes, shading out to a bit darker on her cheeks and temples.
She's shown in the alien skintone from the recent My Poor Lover/Memories blend by obliviouspoo, and you can get the whole set from her, it's very nice!
But I have also packaged a CC-free version. If you get the CC-free one she'll have your alien defaults. Black alien eyes should work well. PLEASE let me know if there are any issues with the downloads. I haven't done this uploading to Box.net thing in forever.

That last, un-named item on the CC list is the hair mesh, I believe.
Just a warning: toddlers and children may bear a distinct resemblance to our amphibious friends the frogs! But they will (probably) grow out of it, and besides, how can you resist this face?
