Classical iPod T-shirts

A while back, on my first batch of iPod-style mythology icons, cette_vie asked about making the icons into t-shirts for sale at NJCL national convention. Chances of our doing that this summer are looking dubious, so instead, I'm trying them out on Cafepress/Zazzle. I put up an iVenus shirt/shop on each site. I only did the one for the likelyness of buying one, I don't care which one. You should have them made for 2006 Nationals in Bloomington, Indiana. I would so buy one. I like the messenger bag and the tank. I just might have to buy one of them...

'04 was my first time to attend convention - I never had Latin in high school and we didn't do SCL in college, so my first involvement with JCL has been sponsoring it now that I'm teaching. :-)

Vessie I don't recognize; but I could see the Swamp Monsters of the URichmond lake listening to iPods...

Vessie=swamp monster of the URichmond lake... a bunch of JCLers ended up making jokes about that.

i'm not quite sure how it ended up being vessie though...

Huh! Well, the swamp monsters are quite memorable, I guess I just never heard them called Vessie. (Though, being URichmond, maybe they should've been Swamp Spiders...)

I didn't vote because I only want one thing on a shirt.. THE IULIUS ONE! That's like the best one out of all of them. Everyone that doesn't take latin calls him Julius, but us wise Latiners know that js are is and that is why I doubly love that one.

I'd wear it in blue or green

Nice to meet some NJCLers here...back as president of my Latin Club at Santa Monica High School, I was California NJCL all four years, and walked away from SAMOHI with an NJCL scholarship for college. I'm now a member of the ACL and hold degrees in Classics and Ancient Civilizations. I'm always happy to see people take pride in the privilege of being a member of such an amazing group. Good luck you guys, and I may have to go to convention for the hell of it to snag a shirt (I reeeeeeeeally want an iDido for my Master's thesis defense). You have no idea how glad I am to see people excited about Classics...there just isn't enough of that (gods, I sound like an old fraggin' lady...). TC All!

And puh-leeze make merchandise of these icons, I so want other stuff, like mugs and pins, I need to maximize my Classics geekness with the help of these lovely icons!!!!!!! This stuff is so cool!
