Unique And Ugly Sims Submission Post

When I was looking for suggestions from you guys about what we should do with this community, somebody posted that they would like to see a tutorial on how to make unique sims in body shop/CAS or whatever, since many people make sims that usually end up looking the same.

Personally, I thought this was a great idea- I'm all for unique looking sims! ( Read more... )

I have been fortunate (or unfortunate enough, depending on your view) to have not had any really ugly ugly sims. I don't create many sims, I mostly breed them. But even my uglacy sims haven't gotten too bad yet.

The oddest sims I've probably had so far are Hart and Hayden Laurince. (Shot of their slice of the family tree.) Even then, I wouldn't call them ugly--their sister Hannah has the female version of their face and I made her heir!

My Gen 3 Uglacy heir isn't particularly ugly, she just inherited her father's big schnoz:

She's actually qute pretty despite her big nose! Talk about bad luck in the uglacy department there. Oh well, it's only up to generation 3. Hopefully it will get worse (Better? :P) as time goes on.

She's still got some of the founder's genes. Her brother was a clone of their father, who wasn't ugly, per se, but had a big nose and a very weak chin. BUT I think that the best variety of genes will probably give me the best end product, so no spouse clone children. Which made her the heir by default...sort of like the gen 2 heir, who was the best blend of her two parents.

If I get a male heir ever, I might be able to get aliens, which would help with the ugly. XD

Uglacy or not, I tend to prefer the offspring that end up having a good blend of their parents as well. Variety is the most important thing in those types of challenges.

It would most definitely help! Alien genes are awesome. Don't you have one of those weird looking multiple PT hacks or am I thinking of somebody else?

Y'all are bad influences on me, I swear. I had made a Sim long ago, of a friend who has rather extreme features--a very long and thin face, kind of a long nose, etc. So who better to breed with than Sandy Bruty?
