Dragancaor's Simsperiments Challenge - August 2008

Welcome to this month's Dragancaor's Simsperiments; a challenge of genetic strengths!

As always, the aim of this challenge is to see who's genes hold true & how good/bad/heinous/amazing the children may or may not be.

This month our victims willing participants are Pixel_and_Bean's Edsel Ishkabibble, Dothesmustle's Tyler Peet, selzi's Haakon Larsen & Simgaroop's Edward Broke.







The Challenge:

Option A:
Breed Edsel with one of the boys. You can pick Tyler, Haakon or Edward. Click their name listed above for direct links to their download pages.

Option B:
Breed Edsel with all of the boys.

"Rules":
- Post your Simsperiment results straight to the community, or link back to your journal.
- Please keep your images no larger than 640 x 480 pixels at their maximum dimensions.
- Feel free to use insim, boolprop, simblender, (or any other mods you feel like) or real time to do this challenge.
- Using faceBlendLimits off cheat is probably a good idea too, though thats up to you!
- Challenge is technically open for four weeks (you're welcome to go & do old ones too if you want though - the more people that tinker, the more variety we get)
- Have fun!!

Dragancaor's Results

For this challenge I set them all to their nearest default skin colour. Which, in their case, was S2 (I use a Pooklet blend from GoS as my defaults on the machine I ran this on last night). Remember this note. It will become important later.

The genetics of the parents for this simsperiment were as follows:
Edsel: S2, Brown eyes, Black hair.
Tyler: S2, Grey eyes, Red hair.
Haakon: S2, Brown eyes, Black hair.
Edward: S2, Light Blue eyes, Brown hair.







Okay... so the skin. I have NO IDEA. All the parents had default skins, eyes & hair colours. So, I exported all the sprats with SimPE & opened them up in bodyshop.



HOW?!?!
I don't even recall downloading that skin, & it sure as hell wasn't being worn by Edsel - yet it appeared in each set of twins!!

Anyone have any suggestions as to how my game spat that out??

Anyway, the sprats' genes.

Lidda Larsen-Ishkabibble = S-CC, Brown eyes, Black hair.
Mialee Larsen-Ishkabibble = S2, Brown eyes, Black hair.
Arithon Peet-Ishkabibble = S2, Brown eyes, Black hair. Edsel's nose, Tyler's ears.
Feylind Peet-Ishkabibble = S-CC, Brown eyes, Black hair. Edsel's nose.
Rhodry Broke-Ishkabibble = S-CC, Brown eyes, Brown hair. Edsel's nose.
Dallandra Broke-Ishkabibble = S-CC, Brown eyes, Black hair.

I'll be uploading these sprats for download soon. They're ALL packaged with S2 like they should have been born with.
