There's a futon place on Forbes Avenue in Squill. I think it's called Norka Futon? Not sure on any other info.

The IKEA futons are great!

I could use a nice, cheap futon as well. I've seen some on Craigslist, and some in stores (Wal Mart, Big Lots), but I need a cheapo one, heh. Trying to move into an apartment in the near future and don't have a lot of expendable cash..

Check mattress stores--Mattress Discounters, the Original Mattress Factory, etc. They usually have a few futon options, and if you're going to be sleeping on it every night (as opposed to using it just as a guest bed), you'll want to get a decent quality one.

Honestly I fell in love with one at Sams Club. It folded out into a full-sized bed.

I bought a futon at Norka Futon. It is indeed in Squill, on Forbes between Murray and Shady. It was almost 2 years ago and I've had no problem with it. I seem to remember the people in the store being reasonably nice. They will deliver and/or assemble for you for a cost (I think it was pretty reasonable, something like $20 for delivery.) They are probably more expensive than Target/Costco, but seemed high quality. Plus, you get a lot of choice and you can actually try sitting on them/lying on them to test comfort. :)

*nod*

Norka is who we went with when getting a futon for our guest room/attic. They aren't cheap, but you can get real mattresses for them & things, and the employees were really nice and helpful.
