Tap dance classes?

Jul 01, 2005 00:09

Ok, anyone know of any tap dance classes starting up this summer or in the fall? Not TOO difficult...I've been on a 5-year hiatus and I'm sure I'll need "review" before I'm decent again. And not too pricey either.

Thanks! :o)

No clue but if you find out, let me know! I had to tap dance in my high school's production of Anything Goes and I loved it; still have my tap shoes and everything. Wouldn't mind taking a few lessons ;)

My friend is a dance teacher at Point Park and she said she'd keep an eye out for community classes and which teachers to take and not to take! I'd rather not take them there (I went there for 4 years and work there this summer...I'm Point Parked out!), but if that's all I can find, then I guess I will!

And I LOVE your icon!

CCAC offers a large selection of classes like that. I don't know about tap in particular but you could look into it.

I do know they offer line dancing as I had to walk around them in the cafeteria the other day.

Lots of adult classes, very friendly. Mostly ballet, but there is also tap and hiphop. I took ballet classes with the woman who runs it (Dena) for many years, and my mom still takes ballet with her. She's like family.
