Rufus is lost in Greenfield

My cat  ran off this evening around sunset. He's a sweetie and I've looked and asked around but no one's seen him. We live on Tesla street, near Bigelow and less near the Giant Eagle. He was wearing a tag when he left with his name, address and phone number. He's also microchipped.

Aww, sorry to hear it! We had this happen once with our adventurous cat. We were advised to leave things outside our front door that had our cat's scent on them (toys, beds, etc.), along with food or treats. After about a day and much searching, flier-posting, and hand-wringing, we found our little bugger out on the porch, lounging on his favorite blanket.

So sad! I hope you find him! He looks like a tuxedo cat those are my favorite! My kitty, Turd ferguson is also a black/white tuxedo. He ran off not long after we first got him and I left things of his outside by the door and by the window he escaped out of. A day and half later I was sitting out on the porch at about 1am and just saying "here kitty kitty kitty" real soft/quiet and then he came slinking around the corner of our house all scared and lookin' like he had been roughin it. So don't lose hope cause chances are he'll turn up. I hope you find him soon hun. I will keep you/him in my thoughts and say some prayers!

Oooh i never heard of that, gonna have to google it! I'm so glad he came back to you! I knew he would! Seems kitties do usually find their way back home and it doesn't usually take too long. I know I'd be a complete wreck if my baby ran away again so I'm even more thankful your lil guy came home. He's a beautiful kitty! :) Yay for him returning!!! :) I bet that was the happiest you've been to be woken up!

I live in Swissvale, but I feel for you! My youngest little buddy recently went on an adventure by himself outside the house, and although it meant many tears for me that day... He came back the same evening. Have faith! Rufus knows who loves him.
