I live in Wilkinsburg and I teach yoga in White Oak! It's a pretty easy commute.

If you're looking for yoga near the Penn State Greater Allegheny campus, search for Power Yoga at Absolute Martial Arts on Facebook to get the info!

Welcome back to the 'Burgh (or at least the general area).

Also another thing about Squirrel Hill is that it's a very safe area. My mom grew up in Squirrel Hill and my grandma still lives there. When we visited, my sister and I were allowed to walk around by ourselves when we were little, and I always feel very comfortable there. There is a large Jewish community in Squirrel Hill, including many Hasidic and Orthodox Jews (my Orthodox cousins also live there.) There are several kosher groceries and restaurants and a JCC, so if you're Jewish you may feel at home there. But yes as others have mentioned the traffic is usually horrendous and parking nonexistant right around Forbes and Murray. But if you go a few blocks out it's fine.

Also if you do decide to move to Regent Square, stay awaaaay from CP Development/Regent Square Rentals.
