Long Hair Help

Do any of you know of a hair salon or even an individual stylist who specializes in long hair? Preferably a place that carries long hair products (like special deep conditioners and a gorram nighttime hair net that's actually large enough to contain my extremely thick can-sit-on-it length hair). Bonus points if it's near Shadyside.

My hair is ridiculously curly, so in its natural state it goes down to the small of my back but if straightened out I can sit on it.

I have long hair (to my waist) and go to Frank Woods Salon in Aspenwall--not close to Shadyside. I live really far from them, but to me it's worth the drive. For too many years stylists took great glee in cutting my hair to my shoulds time and time again all in the name of split ends or not paying attention. Bitches. LOL

To my knolwedge they don't sell hair nets, but they do carry good products.

I love Salon 22 on Butler Street in Lawrenceville and the owner -- Lisa -- has very long hair, herself. I think she would be a great pick. I've seen a lot of girls in there with longer hair as well. Their prices are wonderful. I'd recommend them wholeheartedly!! I'd go there every day, but then I'd be bald. And poor.

IT's VERY close -- only 1.5 Blocks down the street going in the direction away from town. They are right under Arsenal Lanes if that helps.

They also run a lot of specials on their Facebook page and twitter. I forgot to mention that :)

I have hair to the small of my back that I've been growing for a few years. My stylist runs his own hair salon (In Oakland right off of Craig Street) and it is JUST him. He is, however, wonderful with any length of hair. Typically if he doesn't have a product he has ordered it for me specifically or been able to tell me how to get it. He is very good at taking care of my split ends without taking off too much length. I have pretty much straight hair, but he's been very good with just about every texture from others I know who use him.

He's on the slightly pricier side, (in my opinion it's worth the price) if you are interested I'd be happy to give you his number.
