Home Hair Stylists?

Does anyone know of hair stylists who make "house calls" for the elderly?  My grandmother is housebound for the time being, and we're looking for someone to wash/set her hair.  She's in the Brentwood area.

Recommendations??

Maybe call one of the beauty schools in the area?

You could try to give a ring to my hairdresser, Marlene (tell her I sent you) to see whether she does that. She works at Safi's in Squirrel Hill. Good luck!

When my grandmother was still alive, we had somebody who did that. I'd have to ask my mom to be certain who it was, but I know that my grandmother used to go to Gregory's Hair Salon in Oakland. Then again, if it was someone from Gregory's, it's also possible that they may've just done that because 1.) they knew her and 2.) she lived like two blocks away. Still, it might be worth the ask.

You might try calling the Ursuline Center and see if they can recommend anyone.
