Pitt (not UPMC) has excellent tuition benefits. http://www.hr.pitt.edu/benefits/education.htm

That is right. I remember people getting mad when they got switched from PITT to UPMC because the tuition benefits were not as good. Thanks!!

CMU has great benefits as well! I'm getting my MBA from CMU for free. You also get half off other local schools. Andr you kids go to CMU for free (two of them).

I work for EDMC (education managment corp.) down in the strip. They don't have tution benefits for Pitt, but you can go to one of our online schools and earn your MBA for free. Let me know if you want more info!

I'd love some more info about edmc. I am finishing my MS in Management/HR. Where can I find some openings - anywhere really. TIA!

You can do a search for all available positions here: http://careers.peopleclick.com/careerscp/client_edmc/external/search.do. I work in the financial aid office and been here about 2 years. So far, it's been a good place to work!

FYI - I've been applying for jobs at EDMC for nearly two years now. So far I haven't had as much as a thanks but no thanks reply email.

(And yes, I have an excellent resume.)

Got any advice on how to get beyond the application to an actual interview?

most corporations have tuition reimbursement. if you use job placement service or a recruiter tell them that you want that particular benefit.
