CCAC Spanish Classes

I'm thinking of taking the non-credit communtiy class to strenghten my ability. However, there's no placement test. Has anyone done this for Spanish or any other lanaguage. I've taken only a semester of Spanish, but at Pitt whose program is super strong. I pick up languages muy rapido and I speak very strong French, which helps me learn Spanish ( Read more... )

Well, knowing CCAC's community classes, it was possible that they didn't list an instructor and I expected that as an answer but I'm glad that my suggestion was helpful. :-)

I speak all three languages and I would highly recommend beginning in Spanish 1 to get the basics and then studying on your own once you get pronunciation and grammar down and then placing out of Spanish 2 and going on to Spanish 3. JMHO...I have spoken French and English since I was a kid (learned both at the same time) and I took Latin in high school and I still took Spanish 1 to start...there are different rules for every language.

I've taken a semester at Pitt so I have that all down. I don't want to pay the money to be bored, I'd rather be challenged with a little more work.
