Just so people know, Maggie's Mercantile Cafe (vegetarian, vegan, raw food) at 300 South Craig Street is now open.

Is it the same as the OLD Maggies Mercantile that was on Atwood (I think). Because if so they had some AMAZING food.

Not really having much attachment to vegetarian food and being downright hostile towards raw foods I've no real experience with Maggie's. It opened up very close to where I work and I know some people have been wondering when it would open.

Well I tried the vegetarian role for some time, and they had this amazing southwestern "chicken" meal that was to die for.

Just a few short months after I had that great meal, they closed. I would love to be able to have it on occasion.
