New & returning student move-in has begun at Pitt, and parts of Bigelow, Lothrop, and University streets will be closed later this week:
  • Bigelow Blvd between Fifth and Forbes will be closed during the day Wednesday through Friday, re-opening at 7pm on Weds. and 3pm on Thurs and Fri. PAT hasn't posted a detour, but the 54C will continue straight on ( Read more... )

The 54C is supposed to turn down Dithridge and come back up Craig, but it's not worth assuming of hoping that all of the drivers will follow the rules.

CMU kids started moving in yesterday (8/19), so even this end of Oakland is stupid.

There is a big sign on Craig Street stating that the bus will not stop there while Pit has Bigelow closed. Sorry.

On three bus trips today up and down Forbes, I was crammed in there amidst CMU freshmen in pink orientation tee shirts. Is this a sign of what's to come?
