Blabber # 41: What are all these woes

May 02, 2010 00:13

I can't believe Mr. Louie's going away... Now who will teach cooking class? I'm really depressed about it. The news was so sudden. Cooking class will never be the same without him... Now I'm not looking forward to next year as much anymore. And I'm broke. I have no more moneys. What should I do? People get jobs when they're broke, right? ( Read more... )

[What is this? Pit opens the note and then- $500!? Who did such an unspoken act of kindness? Now he doesn't know who to thank!]

[So nice... ♥]

The school pays for most of our books after the Aparoid War. Don't worry about that.

I could ask Kumatora if you could work at the birdcage with us...

Oh... I guess that makes sense.

I'll... think about it. But I heard bad things about working at that place!

Like wh---oh from Tubba.

That's because he was a bouncer. You might want to work as a server like us.

Have you ever met Kumatora's dadmoms? I think they would like you.

Yeah, Tubba told me. He said that old men started flirting with him! Eww! I can't even imagine what kinds of people will come up to me like that! I... might accidentally punch them or something. I don't want to beat up the customers. That will get me kicked out for sure. Bouncers are... people who send customers to tables? Is that what they are? I don't remember right.

I think I remember meeting them. They are nice! Very nice. I like them.

Yikes, buddy!

Hmm... I gave most of what I currently have to Apple Kid the other day because I am a wise financial planner and something tells me mold powered robots are going up up up this year!, but I could at least give you a little to get you some stuff for the new school year. The school can pay for bigger things though with the Aparoid war fund thing.

Man, we better go treasure hunting soon or something. Being low on cash sucks.

You don't have to lend me money. Actually, I feel bad for mooching. It feels better if I can manage all by myself. I don't like making my friends pay for my problems.

Hey, yeah! Treasure hunting! That's a good plan!

Who said anything about lending? Itt'd be a gift if anything. Or... y'know. An investment. But if you're sure you're OK then we won't say another word about it.

*Except for this anonymous $20 addressed to you and slid under your door in an envelope shhhhhhh and don't try to guess whos handwriting it is because... you probably will being Knuckles writes very not-neatly*

Like I said in my journal, Goombella and I have found a really great place to go and we're just working on the details of how to get everyone there quickly. You can find gems that grow over time, rare fossils, ancient artifacts and even the same sorts of gems that Pokemon use to evolve. Lots of stuff!

I really don't deserve it! Ahhh just drop it just drop it!

[Oh no more people feeling sorry for him. eiwnhriewr people are too nice. He never figured it out, Knuckles, don't worry. If he did, you might have found an angel huffing and puffing at your dorm.]

That sounds so exciting. Now I have something really big to look forward to!

Well...Home Economics does dabble a bit into cooking, so I'll most likely be doing a few classes on cooking. They won't be as extravagant as what Louie taught, but at least it'll be better than nothing!

That makes me feel a little better! But... it's not just the whole cooking class that I'm going to miss. I think what I'm going to miss more is having Louie be my teacher. That's all. I think you're going to be an excellent teacher too, Miss Sable.

I'm just as saddened by the news... Louie is a very good friend of mine, and I hate so see him leave to suddenly.

Perhaps a job would ease your financial burden? I think everyone is entitled to an excellent education for little to no cost, but that's my own humble and idealistic opinion. Good luck! I hope everything turns around for you, because I get worried when students have to have that kind of stress.

It's so disappointing! But he probably has his own reasons for leaving. I don't blame him for anything. But... that doesn't change how much I will miss him. Maybe I could write letters or send him things? That way, we can still be in touch. Maybe I can show him some of the new recipes I can make!

Thank you lots, Professor Olimar! I appreciate your support. We'll see what happens. I have plenty of hope that things will turn out fine in the end.
